Description
Embark from the Mucem for a morning catamaran cruise tour to Château d'If and the Frioul Islands.
After being welcomed by the crew, leave the Mucem basin and admire Marseille from the sea. Enjoy privileged views of Fort Saint-Jean, the Cathedrale de la Major, Pharo Palace and Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Continue sailing towards the famous Château d'If, a fortress made world-famous by Alexandre Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo. The crew will share some anecdotes with you about the history of Marseille, its harbor and the sites seen during the crossing.
The catamaran will then head to the Frioul Islands, which include Pomègues and Ratonneau. Admire their limestone cliffs, wild coves, and translucent waters.
The captain will drop anchor in a sheltered cove, chosen according to the wind, sea conditions, and number of visitors.
During the anchorage, enjoy a swimming stop to swim and relax in the waters of the Frioul Islands. Two paddleboards, as well as masks and snorkels, are available on board to explore the surroundings and observe the seabed.
You can also relax on the sun loungers or in the shaded areas of the catamaran. The boat has benches, toilets, a hand shower, and a ladder for easy access to the sea.
You will also enjoy a snack on board.
Then continue sailing towards Marseille and admire the city one last time from the sea before your drop-off at the Mucem.
The entire experience takes place on board the catamaran. There is no disembarkation or stop at a harbor.
The route and anchorage location may be adjusted by the captain depending on weather and sea conditions.
