Description

Enjoy a full day on a sailing boat in the Pelagos Cetacean Sanctuary, departing from and returning to Marina degli Aregai, accompanied by an instructor skipper who will guide you through the basics of sailing. Your experience will last approximately 8 hours and will begin at 9:30 a.m. with boarding and a short introductory briefing on safety and the day’s program. At 10:00 a.m., you will set sail for an approximately 2-hour journey through the Sanctuary, during which you can actively participate in sailing operations and learn the fundamentals of sailing. Throughout the sailing trip, dolphin sightings are frequent, sea turtle sightings are fairly common, and whale sightings are less common. At around 1:00 pm, there will be a stop of approximately 2 hours in a roadstead with crystal-clear water, where you can swim, relax in the sun, or use the equipment available on board free of charge, including snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and deep-sea fishing gear. At 2:30 p.m., a snack featuring local products will be served, accompanied by wine. At 3:00 pm, the boat will set sail for the approximately 2-hour return journey, during which you can relax or continue to help steer the boat. You will arrive back in port at around 5:00 PM, after which you will disembark.
