Description
Begin your tour by driving along the Gineste Road from Marseille, following the Mediterranean coast. Visit Cap Canaille, home to the highest maritime cliffs in Europe, offering panoramic views of the Bay of Cassis and nearby fishing village known for its calanques—steep cliffs and inlets designated a national park in 2012.
Next, visit a vineyard in Cassis. Explore the vineyards and taste a selection of local wines produced by the winery.
Continue to Le Castellet, a medieval village with an authentic Provençal atmosphere. Here, you will have free time for lunch (not included) and to enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.
In the afternoon, visit a Bandol appellation winery, known for its AOC Vins de Bandol. Participate in a wine tasting session and learn about the winemaking process while sampling local wines.
Return to Aix-en-Provence at the end of the day. Note that the order of visits and tastings may vary based on supplier availability.
