Description

Meet your guide in the morning near Pointe Rouge Beach for the start of a small group (maximum 10 people) e-bike ride towards Calanque de Sormiou in the beautiful Calanques National Park. Get outfitted with a helmet and a modern electric mountain bike equipped for smooth riding that allows you to pedal, cruise or try a combination of both. Then, set off along the small roads of Calanques National Park and discover an area of high ecological importance restricted to general traffic. Head towards the paradise location of Calanque de Sormiou, known for its trails with views of the majestic limestone mountains and Mediterranean Sea. Learn the history of the strategic location, and look at the natural curiosities of the area, such as wild flowers of radiant beauty. Benefit from an itinerary that takes full advantage of the unique natural environment. Between May and October, get the chance to swim or rest on the beach. Then, return to Pointe Rouge Beach through the stunning coves of the massif.

  • This tour is suitable for anyone in good physical shape aged 12 to 70
  • The activity provider is located at Pointe Rouge, just near the National Park. When you start from here place, you don't have to cross Marseille to reach the Calanques
  • You can easily travel to the meeting point on public transportation (bus 19 from Castellane, Vélodrome, and Prado)
  • There is a shuttle boat (RTM Company for 5 EUR) open from May to September from Marseille Vieux Port (downtown) to Pointe Rouge
  • From the cruise port it is recommended to take a taxi or Uber. It takes around 25 minutes and costs 40 EUR
  • Your guide will be happy to suggest the best way back
  • The guide will wait for you to start the tour, if you let them know that you are running a little late
