Description
Your day begins at 9am meeting your A la Francaise guide in front of Marseille City Hall (Hôtel de Ville) on Quai du Port. Explore the Panier neighborhood’s steep alleys, historic mills, Hôtel Dieu, Vieille Charité, and the district’s most Parisian street.
Continue to the Old Port and its fish market, then visit the south bank with artists' studios, bars, restaurants, and the old abbey. Board a minivan to reach Notre-Dame de la Garde and enjoy extensive views over Marseille.
After the city tour, enjoy free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, travel to the Provençal countryside near Aix-en-Provence for visits to two local wineries. Participate in guided tastings and learn about regional wine production.
The tour returns to Marseille by 5pm. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking sections.
