Description
Depart from the Esplanade du J4 behind the Mucem Museum in Vieux Port to explore Marseille’s coastal history. The tour sails along the coast to Vallon des Auffes, a charming small harbor, before heading to Degaby Island where you can dine with a reservation.
A brief photo stop is made near Château d'If, the fortress that inspired Alexandre Dumas’ The Count of Monte Cristo, but there is no disembarkation here. The boat then continues to Port du Frioul for a one-hour stop.
During the stop, you can enjoy cafes, lunch available from 12 pm ahead of the 1 pm departure, and swim in the clear waters of a nearby cove. On the return trip in summer, there is an additional stop to swim and snorkel around the island’s crystal-clear waters.
The Frioul Islands remain largely wild with minimal commercial activity, offering a peaceful environment of sea and birdlife. This tour is not suited for those who prefer busy or party-focused outings.
