Description
Set sail for the Château d'If and the Frioul archipelago
Hello, I was born in Marseille and I would be delighted to show you the city from the sea.
Meet me at the J4 esplanade just behind the Mucem museum in the Old Port and get ready to embark on a journey to discover the history of Marseille. We will start by sailing along the coast to the charming little port of Vallon des Auffes, then head for Île Degaby, where you can now enjoy a meal in a magnificent setting (booking required). We will make a short photo stop opposite the Château d'If (no stopover), the famous monument that inspired Alexandre Dumas to write The Count of Monte Cristo. The trip continues to the port of Frioul, where we will stop for an hour and a half. You will be free to explore the port and its islands on your own. This trip is not suitable for people who do not enjoy wild nature and quiet, as the time may seem long to them.
In the port, you can quench your thirst in one of the many cafés and restaurants and enjoy lunch from noon onwards, before taking the opportunity to swim in the cool, crystal-clear water of a nearby cove.
This is still a simple, unspoiled island with very few shops, just nature, the sea, and birds.
Thank you for your trust, and I will do my best to ensure that your visit is a pleasant experience.
