Description
Experience an unforgettable first dive in the heart of Calanques National Park, in a No-Take Zone (NTZ) where marine life is more abundant than elsewhere. This introductory dive, open to those aged 8 and up and requiring no previous experience, allows you to discover the preserved seabed of Marseille, accompanied by a qualified instructor.
The meeting point is at the Vieux Port (Old Port) of Marseille, at 1 Quai Marcel Pagnol, where your instructor will greet you and provide you with all the necessary gear. After a briefing on safety and local wildlife, you board a boat to the reserve area. Take advantage of the crossing to admire the spectacular landscapes of the Calanques, between white cliffs and turquoise waters.
Once you arrive at the site, you will be guided step by step for your first dive. Underwater, be amazed by the abundance of colorful fish, shoals of white seabream, and gorgonians, and you might even come across an octopus or a grouper. The exploration lasts approximately 20 minutes, always under the careful supervision of your instructor. Back on the surface, take the time to discuss your discoveries and enjoy the Mediterranean sun before returning to the Vieux-Port, with your head full of memories and a new passion on the horizon.
