Description
You’ve heard of food and wine pairing… but have you tried wine and candle pairing? I’m Simone, a candle maker for over 12 years, and alongside Guillaume, a master of wine, we’ve created a workshop that blends fragrance and flavour into one unforgettable Marseille experience. Here’s the idea: just like wine, candles are built on top, heart, and base notes. We’ll guide you through pairing seasonal scents each inspired by the South of France with local wines chosen to match them perfectly. Everything we use is carefully sourced: eco-friendly ingredients, fragrances from Grasse (the world’s perfume capital), and wines from nearby vineyards. The workshop takes place in our light-filled apartment in Longchamp, overlooking the beautiful Palais. From here you’ll spot La Bonne Mère and, if the timing’s right, one of Marseille’s famous golden sunsets. Expect relaxed vibes, good conversation, and plenty of Marseille charm. You’ll leave with your own hand-poured souvenir from Marseille and memories that last far longer than a hangover. Please note: workshops are taught in English.Includes
